NRCA Ch & Aust Ch Rottzenith Phinesse - "Nessie"
Nessie coming to us was about being in the right place at the right time. Irene had brought Wicca down to mate her and we were fortunate enough to know the stud dog owner who suggested we come and have a look. From this there was no going back Wicca is a lovely girl and Ashke was one of the most proven Show dogs in the history of the Rottweiler.
A few months later a there she was - Nessie. She was a very active puppy and soon had the nickname nutty Ness. As she quickly grew we knew we were going to have a lot of fun with her in the show ring as she a huge personality. She had a “look at me “attitude with plenty of get up and go.
It was early in 2009 that Nessie started to mature and get her first Excellent (V) rating by a Breed Specialist Judge. From here there was no looking back. On her way to her National Rottweiler Council of Australia title she picked up the further nine V Ratings she required for this title over ten specialist shows. To complete her title she passed her breed suitability test with flying colours in the middle of 2011. Ness had her National title presented to her at our own National in Victoria later that year.
The highlight of her Specialty career has been her placing eight out of the ten times from her excellent ratings, with her most impressive result the Best Australian Bred Rottweiler in show under Dieter Hoffman from Germany.
Throughout this time we had been campaigning Nessie at the All-Breed shows working towards her Australian Champion title. Nessie picked up numerous Best of Breeds along the way gaining her title in January 2010.
Later in 2010 we had planned a litter for Nessie and found a suitable sire in Nico Crni Lotus. She produced 7 beautiful puppies. Three boys and four girls who have featured well in the start of their show careers with both Ziva and Floyd getting their first excellent (V) ratings to follow in their mothers footsteps.
Nessie has decided at the tender age of four that she is the precious one in the house, if she is outside and wants to be inside she will most definitely bark to tell us this. We have to make sure the doors are locked at she will quite happily let herself in. As like her sister her harshest correction is usually a no or uh-uh otherwise she gets offended if she has been told off more harshly. She has been an absolute joy of which we are looking forward to many more years of her entertainment.
